Location

  • You have a number of options to get to the festival and back.

    Shuttles from Newton to Sunda and back again are available for $8 per trip. You can purchase shuttle passes on our ticketing page.

    Otherwise, we recommend pre-booking private transport to and from the festival. It can be difficult to get cars using ride-sharing apps at Sarimbun Scout Camp, so please plan accordingly.

    Parking is not available on-site, so please do not drive.

  • Yes, it’s not a problem to get a cab or ride-hailing service that will take you to Sunda.

    However, once you are at the festival, it can be difficult to get a car using ride-hailing apps so we recommend taking the shuttle or pre-booking a private hire car.

  • There is no parking available. Please do not drive to the festival.

  • Nestled in the greenery of northern Singapore, Sarimbun Scout Camp is a campsite for scouts and students of all ages. On the weekend of Sunda Festival, we’ll be transforming it into the perfect playground to escape from the city and enjoy music in nature.

  • There sure are! We have four permanent and well-maintained toilet facilities available. Cleaners will be stationed at each to ensure you don’t run out of the essentials and that it’s kept neat and tidy.

  • Absolutely! We have several accommodation options for you to stay on site with us. It’s like school holidays again, but now you’re an adult and can decide what time to go to bed. Look under our ‘Accommodations’ page for more information.

  • Yes, this year we are offering Pitch Your Own Tents.

    You’ll need to purchase Pitch Your Own Tent on our ticketing page to reserve a spot at the campsite.

    Maximum lot size is 3×3m, good for a tent of up to 4 pax. Pre-pitched tents are also available if you don’t have your own gear.

  • Absolutely, this is an all-ages friendly event. Our side-programming is available to kids and kids at heart. We will also have a free-play area on the main field. Kids 12 and under come for free!

  • The paw-ty environment might be too much for your sweet doggos. We know it’s hard but please leave your pets at home.

Programming

  • Opening Night at MDLR starts at 10:30pm until 3:00am.

    On Friday the music starts at 1:00pm and ends at 4:00am on Saturday.

    On Saturday the music starts again at 10:00am and ends at 4:00am.

  • Our musical lineup features the best local and regional DJs, live acts, and collectives, together with a few visiting international acts that we really love.

    You'll hear everything from house, disco, techno and DnB, to soul, jazz, hip-hop and RnB!

  • Our side programme is focused around wellness, creativity and family-friendly fun. There’ll be plenty of side quests for you and your little ones!

  • The majority of workshops and activities at Sunda are completely free to join!

    For select activities, there is a fee which goes directly to the facilitators to cover their costs.

Food + Beverage

  • No outside food and drinks, please. Exceptions will only be made for families with young children.

  • Yes, we’ve curated a line-up of mouthwatering food vendors for you to enjoy during the festival!

    We’ll also have multiple onsite bars with all the tipples you’ll need for the day.

  • We will have vegetarian and vegan options available.
